I realize one of the motivating factors in creating a certain character is the Power Sets that are associated with it. I'm also one who is into the novelty of a playing a new Char for the first time. That means not picking Power Sets or Archtypes for characters I have already created. Though I tend to have alot of Corrupters more than any other ATs.
To make it easier for myself, I break down Power Sets by the types that I have yet based a char off.
MELEE
1. Street Justice (Haven't got the points to buy this)
2. Staff Fighting (Not available yet)
3. Battle Axe (I have a character reserved for this)
4. Claws
5. Super Strength (I hate the animation for Super Strength)
5. Fiery Melee
5. Electrical Melee
5. Stone Melee
5. Ice Melee
6. Dark Melee (Feels like melee version of dark blast)
7. Spines (I really hate spines)
MELEE (Secondary)
1. Electrical Aura
2. Fiery Aura
3. Stone Armor
3. Ice Armor
4. Dark Armor
4. Ninjitsu (This is a stalker only power and I didn't enjoy playing stalkers)
RANGED
1. Radiation Blast
2. Fire Blast
2. Ice Blast
2. Dark Blast
3. Sonic Blast (I would love to play this if not for the annoying sound it makes)
5. Psychic Blast
MASTERMIND
1. Daemons (Love this set but no idea on the characer concept)
2. Zombies
2. Ninjas
SUPPORT
1. Time Manipulation
2. Pain Domination
2. Radiation Emission
3. Sonic Resonance
3. Empathy (I would rate it higher if it was not limited to Cont/Def)
4. Cold Domination
4. Dark Miasma
Looking at the list... it doesn't look like much at all. I think I technically hit a dead end on what type of new characters I would make.

Troubleshooting my own PC - Missing External HDD drive
Just today I had trouble booting up my PC and it was stuck at P.O.S.T for a looong time. Then went into start-up repair which Windows 7 informs me that it cannot repair my computer after 1 hour of scanning/attempt to repair.
I couldn't remember what I did next but somehow later the computer worked! Everything was back to normal, except booting up took exceptionally long. It used to take 30 seconds to a minute, now its at least 5 minutes to boot up. But everything works so far...
Worried my computer is about to fail... AGAIN! I decided to back-up my documents and to my horror my portable HDD is missing or appeared not to be working. After scouring the web and attempting to reboot.
The error found in USB Root Hub was Error code 10. Searching the web there were multiple solutions out there. Most suggest doing something to your registry, having anti spyware or rebooting.
Rebooting, I tried and did not work. Already had anti spyware so it didn't work either. The only thing I didn't do was to do a registry clean-up. So I decided to try something else, something far simpler and to my surprise it worked! Heres what I did to help myself.
1. Click Window button (at bottom left hand corner)
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Hard & Sound
4. Under Device & Printers, Click Device Manager
5. See above screenshot, expand on Universal Serial Bus controllers
6. Remove External HDD from computer, aka unplug the USB from the PC.
7. Find the offending USB Root Hub (it will normally have a "!" mark.
8. Right Click and select Uninstall
9. Plug in the USB that connects the External HDD back into the PC
10. Computer will auto-detect new devices
End: At this point the External HDD is once again accessible!
WARNING
*This is not meant to be a solution for others having the same trouble and I will not be held responsible for any damage or error your computer sustains while attempting this. This merely catalogs what works for me. Also because I have a memory of a goldfish, its easier for me to have a reference point on a blog I visit regularly than write it on a notebook that will end up missing in a few months time*

COX: Eva Omega
Dossier Record #: 03025490
Name: Eva Omega
Real Name: N/A
Aliases: Robot Girl
Affiliations: Resistance
Base of Operations: Imperial City
Alignment:Resistance
Identity: N/A
Occupation:Battle Unit
Education: N/A
Origins: Mechanical Construct
Universe: Praetoria
Place of Birth: Underground Imperial City
An expert on Robotics and Cybernetics, Dr John Quintus Hawthorne was a scientist in the service of Emperor Cole. He was assigned to work on the cybernetic brain required for the Olympian Project. The idealistic Dr John dreamed of the day when the Resistance and Loyalist would put aside their differences to retake the world from the Devouring Earth.
To achieve this he worked as a liaison between the two factions, trying to bridge the gap and direct their efforts towards a common goal. Despite being warned to desist, Dr John remained steadfast.
Worried that he will compromise the secret of the Olympian Project the Provost ordered for him to be arrested.
The Powers Division soon raided Dr John's abode with his family in it, using excessive force to bring him in. When Dr John refused to cooperate the Powers Division brutally crippled Dr John, maimed his daughter Eva and killed his wife.
When the Resistance learnt of what happened, they rescued Dr John from Lambda and also recovered his daughter from Cole's memorial hospital. Dr John was devastated to learnt that Eva was crippled from head to toe and left in a coma.
Vowing to bring his daughter back to life by any means necessary. Having heard of what Metronome had tried before. Dr John devised a way to transfer his daughter's conciousness into a synthetic body made in her exact likeness. Dubbing it Project Eva, he began work on clockwork parts supplied by the Resistance and named the improvised Clockworks as EVAs.
Dedicating himself to the Resistance cause, the earlier EVA models were given to them as battle units. With each subsequent EVA surpassing their predecessor. Months passed by as Dr John worked feverishly to perfect his creation.
Satisfied at last, Dr John revealed his latest creation known as Eva Omega. All that is left now is to test Eva Omega in a live environment.
Eva Omega represents the pinnacle of Dr John's years of experience and technical genius. Although the frame-work was based on Praetor Berry's IVy. Eva Omega was built from much rarer materials and incorporated with some of the latest technological components invented by Dr John himself.
Inorganic
As a machine, Eva Omega does not need food, water, oxygen or any nourishment required by living creatures.
Regenerative Body
One of the components used in the construction of Eva Omega was the R.O.M (Reinforced Organic Metal). With the help of the nanobots and given enough time, Eva Omega is capable of complete self-repair in the field.
Almost Limitless Energy
Eva Omega is fitted with a micro reactor which allows her to function without ever needing to recharge from an external power source.
Energy Field Manipulation
Installed with a Energon Field Generator, Eva Omega able capable of propelling an energy force bubble towards a target.
Unbreakable Network Security
Written in a completely different programming langauge and guarded by the most advanced safeguard systems. Intensive tests has revealed that Eva Omega cannot be hacked, at least not yet.
Organic Defense System
Dr John will never allow her daughter's new body to be compromised in anyway. To achieve this he has created an advance computer defense system based on the human's immune system. The AI learns from its computer invaders and will adapt new strategies to either clean them or assimilate them as useful programs within itself. However while doing so, it has been shown that Eva Omega may temporarily lose certain functions depending on the potency of the infection.
Fail-Safe Teleportation
Eva Omega is not indestructible and can be destroyed. As an additional precaution, Dr John has incorporated an emergency system which teleports Eva Omega to a randomly determined safe location.
Organic Thought Process
Unlike most AIs that are ruled by pre-determined algorithims and arithimetic calculations.
Eva Omega approaches new ideas and information in an almost human way. So much so that it has an uncanny way of making a mistake like any human being would that no robots would make.
Robotic Command
Unlike earlier EVA models, Eva Omega was outfitted with Advance Drone Control Module. This upgrade allowed her to direct battlebots to fight on her behalf.
Fire-Arms Competency
A skill that previous Eva models acquired from the Resistance members. The knowledged was passed down to current Eva Omega who is now able to handle most ranged weapons with ease.
Lancer VX-12A Pulse Rifle
Instead of firing of conventional projectiles, this prototype harnesses power into high energy laser into lethal pulses or bursts depending on the firing mode. The Lancer VX-12A also incorporates a photon grenade launcher for additional firepower.
Taser Watch
A removable component added by Dr John to ensure Eva Omega will always have a weapon in case the Pulse Rifle malfunction or was forcibly removed. Although fairly weak the taser gun is retractable and stays hidden unless fired.
HT Tactical Helmet
Sensitive equipment requires adequate protection. Dr John has created a this helmet to provide adequate defense against EMP attacks that could potentially shut-down Eva Omega. It also features an uplink comm device that reduces delay when sending command to battlebots over vast distances.

COX: Character Concepts II
Going through my previous post, I come to realize that amongst the many character concepts that I came up with. I'm quite unlikely to make one of those characters and play them. Surprisingly, I manage to get Rangi's Rage up to level 35 on my secondary account. Highest level amongst all my characters so far.
Deleted alot of characters from my main account and re-leveled them since their names were inappropriate for Superhero themed RPG.
There are only two so far that did turn out to be something I like and could see myself playing in the long-term.
a). Katana / Regen - Brute
Instead of a Highlander, I simply made a Vampire who had lived for centuries and had been elluding those that were trying to bring him to justice for a while. Utterly amoral and warped sense of world itself due to his seemingly immortality.
b) Thugs / Poison - Mastermind
A Hongkong rich kid with mutant powers, his dad used to run the triad and now he wants to takeover. Comes over to Rogue Island to make a name for himself. Arrogant and brash, he enjoys using the word 'Gwai lo' on non chinese people.
The rest of the concepts are still in consideration with details that needs to be worked out. Their motivation / background and fun factor. I have far too many hero characters and I need to create a Villain char to even things out. The only problem is some of them sounds good on paper, but might not have a powerset I'm interested in playing.
1. Kinetic Melee (8/10)
I really like the KM powerset, character concept wise I have thought of a either Dongfang Bubai or someone who ended up like him. The only problem is Dongfang himself is rather eccentric, not exactly the villain I expect. Cruel and vain but it be alot of effort to work out the motivation in seeking greater power.
2. Titan Weapons(8.5/10)
Another of my favorite powerset. I would prefer a hero char for this but I'm not really sure. Would it be a statue that gained life or video game character that became alive. Either way I still can't decide on the background.
3. Arachnos Widow (7/10)
A pugulistic warrior that is more like an assasin but not affiliated with the Villian side. Think of him as Shinobi with a twist.
4. Axe / Shield (7/10)
Probably make it a brute or scrapper of magic origin. The thing holding me back is that I don't have the costume parts for it to make it feel more convincing. Character concept is holding me back too, Daemonic warrior? Birdman? Minotaur?
5. Beam Gun / ??? (7/10)
A dimensional traveller from another time or world? Too much like Bishop and Cable from the X-Men series? Perhaps a refuge from an altenate world decimated by aliens and arrived in Praetoria to seek help.
6. Ninja / Time Manipulation (6/10)
A fuedal overlord from Japan who has survived two centuries. He is actually a mutant and believes in creating the perfect mutant by mating with another superior mutant. Its his method to pass on his legacy of his empire. Probably believes all ordinary humans are unworthy and are fit only to be servants or slaves. I like this idea too but I have too many Mastermind characters already...
7. Crazed Necromancer (6/10)
A man who has trouble letting go. Learns necromancy to bring back his dead wife. Something goes wrong and drives him insane. Likewise, I fancy this idea but have too many Mastermind characters already.
8. A daemonic Entity who summons daemons... (6/10)
A Daemon An Outsider from beyond this dimension trying to invade this world. It assumes human form in either gender and summons his minions to do his bidding. I'll need the Super Tailor access to pull this off and its too expensive in the store now. Also because I have way too many Mastermind characters already.
9. Street Justice / ??? (7.5/10)
I like this powerset too. But I have to buy it from the store and also I can't decide the secondary. Either John cousin turned evil or Thai mutant.
10. Super Strength/ Invuln (6/10)
I changed the robot concept to a cyborg one. Instead of being corrupted by Eva Omega. The said character is a paraplegic genius who working with technology to enable people like him to move. He succeeds and somehow gets warped in the process thus turning into a Villain. I like the concept but not the powerset so I might change it to Electric Melee... not sure at this stage.
11. The Puritan
A religious intolerant Puritan who takes delight in hunting down and killing people whom he judges as living a guilty life. Motivation would be insanity, delusions of grandeur
12. The Supremacist
A modern Neo Nazi who believes in racial purity.
REJECTS
16. Papa Jungle
A character from Papau New Guinea - Rather corny name. Papa Forest commands the power of plants and the earth. I plan to have him as a Dominator. I'm unsure if he will be of magic or mutant origin. I like the concept behind it but I don't think I play a character like this.
18. Vengeance
A mutant victim of Unit 731 during the WW II era. It is believed that the experiment reacted or triggered his mutant ability. He was later freed after the Japanese surrender. However was subsequently recaptured by US Covert Ops for further experimentations. The concept is kind of vague to go about and I'm not a fan of Dark Melee.
19. Magi
A mage from another dimension. Probably an empathy defender. Lowest on my priority list.
